Hello everyone! On Saturday 9th March we will meet at Mercat de Pagès de Sants/Les Corts at 1.30pm for a calçotada organised by the local market. It costs €15 and includes the full menu: calçots + romesco sauce, meat or vegan main, and a dessert. Attendees are allowed to bring their own drinks too!🍷
What is a calçotada? Calçotadas are traditional Catalan BBQs which take place across the region from December to March. Calçots (a cross between a spring onion and a leek) are grilled in mass and served along with delicious romesco sauce. This beloved winter vegetable is accompanied by copious amounts of meat and wine!
