About the Cultural Weekend
In November 2025, International Lesbians Barcelona hosted its Cultural Weekend, a three-day event featuring seven activities centered around our three C´s: Community, Connection, and Culture.
Taking place across various venues throughout Barcelona, the weekend gave participants the opportunity to discover different neighborhoods, local businesses, and cultural spaces while connecting with other members of the community. The program offered a diverse range of experiences, from paint-and-wine sessions and karaoke nights to potlucks and dance workshops.
The events
Comedy night
Our Comedy Night was the opening event of the Cultural Weekend.
Bringing together members of the community for an evening of laughter and entertainment, the event featured performances by several comedians, followed by a drag king show to close the night.
Swing Lindy Hop Dance Class
Our Dance Class was one of the activities featured during the Cultural Weekend. Participants had the opportunity to learn and experience Lindy Hop, a swing dance rooted in African American culture. The session provided a fun and interactive way for community members to connect while exploring a new cultural tradition.
Tapas & Vermouth Route
The Tapas & Vermouth Route took participants through several bodegas in Gràcia.
The experience created a welcoming environment for community members to connect, share stories, and explore the neighborhood together.
Karaoke Night
The Karaoke Night welcomed people to Lesbian Bar Titanic for a fun karaoke night.
The event offered an inclusive environment where participants could enjoy themselves and spend time together as a community.
Sound Healing workshop
The Sound Healing Workshop offered a calm and restorative start to Sunday morning.
Participants were invited to relax, unwind, and reconnect with themselves in a safe and welcoming environment, creating a moment of peace before the day continued.
Paint and Wine
Set on a beautiful rooftop in Barcelona, the Paint & Wine session offered a relaxed afternoon of creativity and connection.
Participants enjoyed wine, conversation, and the opportunity to express their creative side while taking in the surroundings and spending time together.
International Potluck
Our International Potluck brought together members from different cultural backgrounds to share food, traditions, and experiences.
Each participant contributed a dish, creating an opportunity to discover new flavors, exchange stories, and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
